General Conditions for Purchasing through pwstamps.com.au

You must provide current and correct name and shipping / billing address details.
Credit card details supplied by you, the purchaser must be correct and current.
All card payments are processed securely through secure payment services.
Product details and price may change at any time without prior notice.
We may refuse sale or delivery of an item due to a price discrepancy caused by human or technical error at any time (a full refund or the opportunity to pay the difference will be offered).
All prices are shown including GST and a valid tax invoice will be supplied on request, orders shipped outside Australia are exempt from GST and this will be automatically deducted by the store software prior to payment being made.
Payment is processed at time of placing your order and it not a guarantee or indication of stock availability.
For international orders larger than letter size the value will be delcared on the package for insurance and customs regulations, depending on your local customs law import taxes may be payable and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
Business days refers to standard weekdays (Monday – Friday) not including Public Holidays.

Stock Availability & Shipping Timeframes

Where stock is available orders are generally shipped within 2-5 business days, if an item is needed by a certain date please advise at time of ordering. Faster shipping options are available and an additional cost may apply.

Currently available stock is shown for all items, please note that for accessories, catalogues, albums and other supplies the availability shown includes stock levels from our suppliers and stock may need to be ordered in to complete your order which can take up to 2 weeks at times. Orders may also be shipped directly from the supplier to expedite delivery depending on the items ordered and your delivery address.

Items which show as “Out of Stock – Can be Backordered” are not currently available from local suppliers and will need to be ordered. Depending on ordering and shipping schedules this can take anywhere from a few weeks to a number of months. An estimated arrival time for backordered items will be advised within 24 hours of placing your order or can be requested in advance by email.

Advance / Pre-Order Items

Various products may be offered for purchase in advance of release and the estimated availability will be listed clearly in the item title or description. Should a request to cancel an order placed for these items an amount of 5% will be deducted to cover payment processing fees and administration.

Shipping Conditions for Backorder / Pre-Order Items

Where backorder / pre-order items are ordered with available items the entire order will generally be held until all items are available due to shipping costs. Splitting of the order is available however extra shipping costs at standard flat rates will apply.

Returns & Refunds

All requests for returns or refunds must be received within 5 days of delivery (includes latest estimated delivery time for untracked items).

If an item is received damaged (unless described as such) please advise within 5 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. In the event of damage in transit a claim will need to be lodged with Australia Post by the recipient and any compensation should be signed over to Peter Walters as the sender to offset replacement items. If the compensation is paid to the recipient this will need to paid to Peter Walters before a new item is sent or a new order placed.

Change of Mind or Incorrect Choice – Under Australian consumer law there is no obligation for a return to be accepted in the event of a change of mind or incorrect item purchased however returns are accepted on a discretionary basis subject to the items being returned in saleable condition. Change of mind returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 10%. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and no refund or credit will be given for shipping costs in relation to a change of mind return.

Where a refund is requested before an item is shipped a restocking fee of up to 10% of the of the item value will be deducted from any refund to cover payment processing fees and time.

Delivery Address Changes

Please ensure that the delivery address on your order is correct. If there is an error please notify us immediately, any changes to delivery addresses may require the order to be cancelled and refunded and you can then place a new order with the correct details. If your order is already in transit no refund will be processed until the package is returned unopened by the delivery provider, redelivery will incur additional postage charges (at cost if the actual cost is greater than the rate charged).

Delivery within Australia

For deliveries within Australia we provide the following options:

Orders containing stamps and other philatelic material only (Under $100 – flat rate) and orders over $100 delivery is free
Orders containing albums, catalogues and other supplies with a weight over 100g are charged at a flat rate and free delivery is available for orders over $250
FREE Collection of Orders also available from our Melbourne storage location at Kennards Self Storage Ivanhoe, 58 Upper Heidelberg Rd (by appointment only)

Delivery outside Australia (Worldwide)

For deliveries outside Australia we provide the following options:

Orders containing stamps and other philatelic material only are subject to a flat rate depending on the destination country.
Orders containing albums, catalogues and other supplies are subject to parcel rates and are charged at full price due to the high costs involved
