By placing an order through this website (Peter Walters Stamps) you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions below.

Pricing

All prices and product details are subject to change at any time without prior notice

We may refuse sale or delivery of an item due to a price discrepancy caused by human or technical error at any time (a full refund for any item not supplied and associated shipping will be provided at the time of notifcation of such cancelation)

All prices include GST which is payable on all deliveries within Australia.  Deliveries to addresses outside Australia are not subject to GST and prices are automatically adjusted by the shopping cart software based on the shipping address entered.  This will show in the shopping cart when the address is updated and also if you have registered and account with an overseas shipping address and are logged in.  Ex GST prices are also displayed for each item.  A tax invoice is available on request.

Payment Processing

Payment is processed automatically at time of placing your order (Credit Card & Paypal) and is not a guarantee or indication of stock availability.

Additional credit card verification may be carried out before fullfillment of your order for yours and our protection, all verification is carried out in line with our merchant processing agreement.  Complete credit card details are not visible to us and your full card number will never be requested by us for any payments through the shopping cart software.

Item Availability

In order to offer lower prices and a greater range of products not all philatelic & numismatic storage products, accessories & publications are kept in stock and will be ordered in from the wholesaler as required. At times items will be out of stock with the wholesaler and be placed on backorder. You will be notified of any backorders 6 business days of placing your order as well as an estimated delivery date. If the expected delivery date is more than 2 weeks from advising of the delay you will be offered the option of a refund or alternative item/s. Refunds must be requested within 7 days of backorder notification otherwise it will be treated as a change of mind (see below). Delivery dates for backorders are an estimate only and are subject to change, as such requests to cancel a backorder after having agreed to keep an item on order may be subject to a cancelation fee of 15% of the item price.

Special Orders

Some items are listed as special order (see item page) as they are not generally stocked by the wholesaler so a delivery time of 6+ weeks is likely. Special orders cannot be cancelled unless requested within 7 days of order date, after this date a cancellation fee of up to 80% of item price will apply.  If an item is no longer able to be supplied a full refund will of course be supplied as soon as this is known. Special orders will be confirmed by email within 2 days of receipt of your order.

Pre Orders

Some items are available to order well in advance of them being available. Expected delivery times are advised on the item page however these are subject to change. Cancellations of pre order items will incur a fee of 20% of the item value.

Returns & Refunds

If an item is received damaged (unless described as such) you can return it for replacement or refund.  Any damaged item must be advised within 3 days of delivery as any request may be refused after this time.

In the event of an incorrect item being purchased an exchange may be offered however all shipping costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser.  Depending on the product an exchange will be subject to either a restocking fee of 15% or in the case of items that may prove unsaleable due to their specialised nature the wholesale cost of the item may be charged.

Change of Mind if a refund is requested simply because you no longer want the item we reserve the right to refuse a return or cancelation and in the event this is accepted a restocking fee of 15% of the item value will be deducted, in some cases due to the specialised nature of some items the wholesale cost will be charged instead.  Any shipping fees to return an item will be the responsibility of the buyer.  Shipping fees paid will not be refunded if the item has been sent.

Delivery Address Changes

Please ensure that the delivery address on your order is correct. If there is an error please notify us immediately, any changes to delivery addresses will require the order to be cancelled and refunded and you can then place a new order with the correct details. If your order is already in transit no refund will be processed until the package is returned unopened by the delivery provider, redelivery will incur additional postage charges (at cost if the actual cost is greater than the rate charged).

There are currently delivery delays within Australia and Overseas due to limited cargo capacity and health restrictions.
