By placing an order with Peter Walters Stamps you acknowledge your acceptance of the terms and conditions below.
If an item received is damaged or faulty (unless described as such) then you are entitled to a refund or exchange provided this is advised promptly on receipt and if requested the item is returned to Peter Walters Stamps. Wherever possible a replacement item will be supplied however in the event of a replacement not being available a refund will be processed using the payment method of the original order.
For change of mind there is no obligation for a refund under Australian consumer law, at our discretion a refund or exchange may be offered provided this is requested within 7 days of receipt of the item and the item is returned in the same condition as supplied. In this event a restocking fee of no greater than 20% may be charged. Please note that for items marked as Special Order no refund will be provided.
Some items ordered may be temporarily unavailable and will be backordered with the supplier, in this event you will receive an order update generally within 1 week of placing your order to advise of this and the expected delivery time frame. If the delivery delay is expected to be greater than 2 weeks a refund for the unavailable item/s will be offered however acceptance of this must be advised within 1 week of the order update. If the stock is expected to arrive with the wholesaler within 2 weeks then this will be considered a change of mind and a 20% cancellation fee will apply.
Credit Card Security
In some cases additional verification of credit card details may be requested to verify that the credit card used for a transaction is in your possession. These checks are carried out in compliance with our merchant processing agreement. Your full card details are not held or visible to us as all payments are processed through a secure payment system which fully complies with payment security regulations.
